The Department of Economics trains students to research in all areas covered by the economic analysis of monetary and fiscal policies, unemployment, economic development, inequalities, game theory, new approaches to economic rationality ... It welcomes students from different competitive recruitment and selection of students admitted to prepare the ENS diploma, and masters students in several research: Economic Analysis and Policy (EPA), Public Policy and Development (PPD ), in partnership with other institutions (Paris School of Economics, Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, National School of Bridges and Roads, ENSAE Polytechnoque School, HEC, Paris 1 University, Université Paris Ouest Nanterre La Défense) . Pupils and students benefit from the unique environment offered by the Paris School of Economics and research laboratories associated with the School and the Jourdan campus: - UMR Paris Economics (PSE) - CEPREMAP which include nearly 150 faculty members and contribute to the management of a hundred doctoral students, French and foreign. The students can register L3 license or Paris Dauphine 1, under an agreement signed between the ENS and the University concerned. The preparation of competitive examinations, in collaboration with the University Paris 1, is provided within the departments of Economics, Geography and Social Sciences.
